Finance Manager – Fully Remote (UK)

About the role

We are a growing venture capital fund seeking our first in‑house Finance Manager. The role is fully remote, based in the UK, with occasional travel to London and Surrey. Reporting to the CFO, you will own day‑to‑day finance operations across a multi‑entity group.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank and inter‑company reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Process supplier invoices, verify new vendors and manage invoice approvals.
• Prepare supplier payments and chase missing statements.
• Handle intra‑group and external invoicing, debtor chasing and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Complete month‑end close for multiple entities and support VAT returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax filings.
• Monitor the accounting inbox and respond to finance queries.

Required profile

• Based in the UK and able to work fully remotely.
• Proven experience in a busy, multi‑entity finance function.
• Strong background in inter‑company and complex accounting transactions.
• Experience in fund accounting or working with high‑net‑worth individuals is a plus.

Required skills

• Expertise in Xero (essential).
• Ability to work independently and meet tight month‑end deadlines.
