Finance Manager

About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager to lead a small finance team at our client’s site in Highbridge. Reporting to the Operations Controller, you will be the most senior finance professional on‑site and will work full‑time in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, including reconciliations and query resolution.
- Process purchase and sales ledgers and manage credit control.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely completion of all transactional activities.
- Provide guidance and act as the escalation point for accounts assistants.
- Support the broader finance function by delivering reliable financial housekeeping.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, capable of managing a small team.
- Comfortable being the senior finance contact on site and reporting to senior management.
- Willingness to work on‑site five days a week.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks of varying complexity.
- Excellent people skills and a collaborative attitude.
