Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function in a fast‑growing technology business with UK and international operations. You will work closely with senior leaders, ensuring accurate financial controls, reporting and insight to support continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, maintaining accurate records.
• Manage sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control.
• Perform bank reconciliations, VAT returns and cash‑flow management.
• Process monthly payroll, overtime, expenses and employee benefits.
• Support month‑end reporting and produce financial statements.
• Maintain and improve finance systems, strengthen controls and drive process enhancements.

Required profile

• Previous responsibility for managing a finance function within an SME.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and credit control.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Xero.
• AAT Level 4, CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience.

• Salary £45,000 – £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
