Finance Manager – Real‑Time Payments (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This is a nine‑month Fixed‑Term Contract position supporting Mastercard’s Real‑Time Payments (RTP) business. Reporting to the Finance Director of the RTP team, you will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver financial planning, analysis and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and target setting.
• Conduct revenue and expense analyses to address business needs.
• Review new business cases, challenge assumptions and validate data sources.
• Maintain a sound, well‑controlled financial environment.
• Identify and deliver expense efficiency opportunities with RTP programmes.
• Produce and present product financials, track performance against budgets and business cases.
• Coordinate with other Mastercard finance functions such as Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Product & Engineering and regional finance teams.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.
• Strategic thinker who can also dive into detailed analysis.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated business acumen, risk‑taking mindset and strong sense of urgency.
