Finance Manager – South Lakes

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial control, reporting and compliance for an established South Lakes business. You will ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end processes, support cash‑flow management and develop the finance team to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, review journals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, fixed‑asset accounting and lease accounting.
• Oversee stock accounting, inter‑company balances and accounts payable.
• Prepare weekly cash‑flow forecasts and monitor working capital.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance with accounting standards and support audits.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cost and margin analysis.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, managing workloads and priorities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multi‑site, operational or project‑led environments.
• Proven track record of ERP implementations or finance process automation.
