Finance Partnerships Manager – Commercial Finance & Accountant Networks

About the role

The Finance Partnerships Manager will work with SME owners, finance directors, accountants and commercial lenders to deliver commercial finance and debt advisory solutions. Based in Manchester, the role focuses on advising clients, structuring funding, and building long‑term relationships across a range of products including invoice finance, asset finance and business banking.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial finance, business finance and debt advisory solutions.
• Build and manage a broker portfolio of SME clients seeking funding, lending or debt restructuring.
• Develop referral partnerships with accountants, intermediaries and business networks.
• Assess financial statements, credit profiles and funding requirements.
• Present structured funding proposals to lenders and clients.
• Maintain relationships with commercial lenders across invoice finance, asset finance, term lending and business banking.
• Drive business development through professional networks, partnerships and SME outreach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance partnerships, commercial finance or debt advisory.
• Track record of working with SME owners, finance directors and accountants.
• Ability to evaluate financial statements and credit assessments.
• Experience in creating and managing a sales broker portfolio.
• Strong network development skills with accountants and intermediaries.
