Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Finance Planning & Analysis Manager to join the UK entity. Working closely with the Finance Director and local leadership, you will own the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning processes that drive performance and protect EBIT.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert financial and analytical advice to support decision‑making across the business.
• Own and actively manage the UK entity’s strategic financial planning exercises.
• Maintain the financial KPI dashboard, produce management reports and conduct financial statement analysis in line with the RRPS operating model, including balance‑sheet reviews and commentary.
• Hold stakeholders accountable by pacing actual results against plan and tracking risks and opportunities.
• Partner with the PowerGen business unit and act as the main contact for Corporate Finance ad‑hoc planning and reporting requests.
• Develop and manage a rolling financial forecast in collaboration with Corporate Finance teams.
• Continuously improve financial processes, increasing transparency and the quality of information.
• Manage tight deadlines, work hands‑on and handle confidential matters with care.

Required profile

• At least 5 years post‑qualification experience in a manufacturing or overhaul environment.
• Degree qualified and ACA, ACCA or AMCA certified.
• Proven ability to set priorities and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Experience using Hyperion Financial Management or similar consolidation tools.
• Strong ERP knowledge with hands‑on experience of SAP HANA.
• Excellent understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting requirements, finance systems and FP&A.
• Experience in business expansion, transformation or M&A is a plus.
