Finance & Reconciliation Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Reconciliation Analyst to join our growing finance team in Warrington. This full‑time, office‑based position offers an excellent entry point for a finance professional eager to develop hands‑on experience across a busy, data‑driven finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Complete high‑volume bank and account reconciliations on a daily basis.
• Review and reconcile transactions across multiple platforms and payment channels.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and resolve variances.
• Analyse large financial data sets using Excel to manipulate and present information.
• Support the Credit Control team with account and payment queries.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to gain broader finance exposure.
• Allocate and reconcile customer receipts and payments accurately.
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase reconciliation efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in a busy finance, accounts or reconciliation environment.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
• Comfortable handling high volumes of transactions.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage own workload.
• Interest in building a long‑term career in finance.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
