Finance Reporting Lead (Record-to-Report)

About the role

We are partnering with an international not‑for‑profit organisation that seeks a Finance Reporting Lead to own the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) function. You will coordinate globally dispersed teams, streamline month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end closes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global R2R operations, delivering accurate and timely financial closes.
• Maintain general ledger integrity through balance‑sheet control, reconciliations, journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Oversee statutory reporting, external audits and regulatory compliance in all regions.
• Provide high‑quality financial data for consolidation, management and donor reporting.
• Supervise global taxation, statutory submissions and payroll processes.
• Develop and enforce unified R2R policies, controls, SOPs and close frameworks.
• Drive automation, workflow optimisation and digital improvements to enhance accuracy and audit readiness.
• Build and develop a geographically dispersed R2R team, collaborating with Finance, FP&A, IT and operational stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in end‑to‑end R2R processes within a global or multi‑regional environment.
• Proven ability to improve financial reporting, strengthen internal controls and enhance audit readiness.
• Experience leading and developing dispersed finance teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Background in international not‑for‑profit or donor‑funded organisations is advantageous.
