Finance Systems Consultant – Remote (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Consultant to provide interim support for a well‑known charitable organisation. The role is fully remote and lasts six months, offering the chance to manage day‑to‑day operations of key finance systems while driving enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support finance systems (SunSystems and Proactis) on a daily basis.
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve user queries promptly.
• Manage system configuration, user access rights and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver system improvements.
• Support upgrades, testing, process enhancements and maintain documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls and overall user experience.

Required profile

• Strong experience supporting enterprise finance systems within a complex organisation.
• Hands‑on experience administering SunSystems or a comparable ERP.
• Solid understanding of finance processes, including month‑end, reporting and financial controls.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear communication of technical information to non‑technical users.
• Experience working with system vendors and managing support requests.
• Accounting qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
