Finance Systems Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of our client’s Finance Gaming Systems landscape. Reporting to the Head of Finance Gaming Systems, you will drive the roadmap, oversee enhancements and ensure technology solutions support growth while maintaining strong financial controls and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance Gaming Systems in delivering the Finance Systems roadmap.
• Lead Finance input into system enhancements, upgrades and transformation initiatives.
• Own the Finance change lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and post‑launch support.
• Manage Finance demand for system improvements and align priorities with business objectives.
• Provide Finance leadership across the digital gaming platform (SGPAM) and associated payment systems.
• Support development of digital payment capabilities, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Oversee settlement processes, reconciliations and exception management across gaming platforms.
• Act as primary Finance representative with Technology, Product, Operations and third‑party suppliers.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – test planning, script creation, execution and defect management.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing finance‑focused technology systems in a complex, multi‑vendor environment.
• Proven ability to influence strategic change and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior business and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £85,000 – £105,000 per year, DOE
