Finance Systems Manager

About the role

Altum Consulting is supporting a large, regulated gaming organisation in hiring a Finance Systems Manager. The role leads complex finance‑systems change, bridging Finance, Technology, Product and Operations to deliver robust, high‑volume transactional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of finance‑systems enhancements and the end‑to‑end gaming systems roadmap.
• Oversee finance involvement in digital gaming platforms, player payments, settlement models and new payment integrations.
• Manage the full change lifecycle from demand intake through testing, deployment and transition to business‑as‑usual.
• Translate finance requirements into technical specifications, user stories and delivery plans.
• Lead UAT activities, including test planning, script creation, execution, defect management and sign‑off.
• Maintain oversight of risks, dependencies and control impacts while partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external technology providers, banks and payment partners, supporting audit and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent senior‑level finance‑systems experience.
• Significant experience delivering finance‑led technology change in a regulated or high‑volume transactional environment.
• Strong understanding of payment execution, settlements, reconciliations and claims processing.
• Proven experience working across multi‑platform systems and third‑party technology providers.
• Experience in gaming is beneficial; experience in payments, financial services or similar high‑transaction sectors is essential.
