Financial Accountant – Fixed Term Contract

About the role

An established international business is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will operate within a complex, multi‑entity environment, taking full ownership of statutory reporting and audit delivery for several entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and supporting schedules for multiple entities.
• Manage year‑end reporting and coordinate audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support tax and broader financial compliance activities.
• Maintain robust financial controls and documentation.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification with strong statutory accounting knowledge.
• Previous audit experience in practice or industry.
• Solid technical accounting expertise.
• Experience working in a multi‑entity environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or a comparable ERP system is advantageous.
