Financial Adviser – Wealth Planning (Self‑Employed)

About the role

This self‑employed position is for an ambitious Financial Adviser focused exclusively on wealth and financial planning. You will join a Sunderland‑based team, receiving introductions to an established client bank and review opportunities from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth advice to clients.
• Conduct regular client reviews and build long‑term advisory relationships.
• Support existing clients while actively developing your own client portfolio.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking and client introductions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Inspire Financial North East team to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Chartered Financial Planner status desirable but not essential.
• Strong client relationship and communication abilities.
• High self‑motivation, entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to excellent service.

Required skills

• Ability to provide comprehensive wealth advice.
• Knowledge of financial planning regulations and compliance.
• Effective networking and referral generation skills.
