Financial Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a client‑focused Financial Advisor to join The Openwork Partnership on a self‑employed basis. You will deliver holistic financial planning advice, helping clients achieve long‑term goals while building trusted relationships. The role offers flexible remote or hybrid working and full administrative and compliance support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice covering investments, pensions, protection and retirement planning.
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and develop suitable recommendations.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and grow your own portfolio.
• Develop referral partnerships and professional introducer relationships.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and business development activities.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and deliver excellent outcomes.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Proven experience providing regulated financial advice.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Client‑centric approach with a passion for positive outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to grow an advisory business.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and compliance.
