Financial Advisor – Self-Employed, Remote/Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking motivated Financial Advisors to join The Openwork Partnership on a self‑employed basis. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid model while building and scaling your own advisory business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic, client‑focused financial planning advice across investments, pensions, protection and retirement.
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and develop tailored recommendations.
• Grow and manage a personal client portfolio, generating new business through networking and referrals.
• Maintain compliance with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and internal policies.
• Develop referral partnerships and professional introducer relationships.
• Keep accurate client records and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience delivering regulated financial advice.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to expand an advisory practice.
• Self‑motivated, professional and driven to succeed.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and compliance requirements.
