Financial Analyst (Maternity Cover) - 12 Month Fixed Term

About the role

Fender Europe is looking for a Financial Analyst to cover maternity leave for 12 months, based in East Grinstead. Reporting to the Financial Planning Analyst Director - Europe, the role sits in FP&A and provides accurate sales analytics for Fender's European operation, partnering with key stakeholders and delivering high-quality analysis of sales and discounts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide monthly and quarterly sales analytics, covering regional, channel, customer and product line performance versus budget and prior years
• Produce quarterly customer performance reports for internal and external use
• Take part in sales budgets, including modelling of dealer budgets
• Analyse the ROI of promotional activity, forward orders, discounts and dealership profiles
• Deliver cost-to-serve and profitability analytics at channel and dealer level
• Check the integrity of sales data in reporting systems such as BW, Tableau and SAP
• Work with the wider Data Analytics team to move reporting to new platforms, including using AI solutions to support analysis
• Carry out ad hoc project work

Required profile

• Strong analytics experience and ability to turn large amounts of raw data into financial information
• Ability to explain figures clearly to non-finance staff
• Multi-currency work experience
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, and a flexible, inquisitive approach
• Good communication skills across different cultures and styles
• Desirable: recognised accountancy qualification, consumer goods or manufacturing background
