Financial Controller – Growth Opportunity

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing SME in Twickenham. The role offers direct access to senior leadership and a clear pathway to Finance Director as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function, processing high‑volume transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver insightful analysis to support decision‑making.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to improve performance and profitability.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Support group‑level reporting across multiple entities.
• Help shape and improve finance processes as the company expands.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within a group structure.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or haulage is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
