Financial Controller - High-Growth FoodTech Startup

About the Role

Join FoodLab, a rapidly scaling B2B leader in the beverage industry, as our second finance team member. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial infrastructure as we expand our production footprint across the UK and US markets.

Main Missions

• Manage daily financial control and ensure robust visibility of costs and margins by product, client, and market (UK & US).
• Implement and optimize scalable processes for purchase orders, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
• Oversee cost tracking, inventory movements, and overall financial performance monitoring.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic growth scenario planning.
• Enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and internal controls to support rapid scaling.
• Provide actionable financial analysis to drive operational and strategic decision-making.

Profile Required

• Proven experience in management controlling or management accounting within the FMCG, manufacturing, or a high-growth startup environment.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across different markets.
• Qualified professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly preferred.
