Financial Controller – Hybrid – £85k-£95k

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to find a high‑calibre Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will act as a true business partner, influencing strategy across operations, supply chain and commercial teams while driving profitability and finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performance finance team.
• Deliver accurate, timely management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with operational and commercial functions to identify growth, efficiency and margin improvement opportunities.
• Drive finance transformation, process enhancement and systems optimisation initiatives.
• Support major capital investment decisions through robust financial modelling and ROI analysis.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, compliance, treasury and risk management activities.
• Strengthen controls, governance and financial processes across the organisation.

• Confident, engaging finance professional with a commercial mindset.
• Proven ability to build trust quickly and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience in fast‑paced manufacturing, engineering or process‑led environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, continuous‑improvement approach.
