Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to own the on‑site finance function of a dynamic hospitality business in Central London. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to drive financial performance, ensure robust controls, and provide insightful analysis for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day finance function on site.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts.
• Partner with operational leadership to drive commercial performance and cost control.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and processes.
• Provide meaningful analysis and insight to support business growth and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial control and reporting.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence decision‑making.
• Experience in hospitality, hotels, or a similar multi‑revenue‑stream business is highly advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially working alongside operational teams.
