Financial Controller

About the role

Delta Hotels by Marriott in Bristol City Centre is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the hotel’s finance function. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting, delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the hotel’s daily accounting operations.
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the hotel management team.
• Prepare, analyse and present internal and external financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, audit and control activities.
• Oversee asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash management.

Required profile

• Full‑ or part‑qualified finance professional.
• Previous experience in hotel accounting.
• Strong understanding of hotel operational finance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L reporting and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships across a hospitality business.
