Financial Controller

About the role

Heidi is looking for a Financial Controller to own the end‑to‑end finance function of a fast‑growing ski‑holiday tech business. You will be responsible for month‑end close, cash‑flow forecasting, statutory reporting and the financial controls that enable rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close, produce timely management accounts and drive board reporting.
• Act as the technical accounting authority, overseeing FRS 102 statutory accounts and complex accounting judgments.
• Manage revenue recognition, including agent vs. principal treatment, deferred revenue and supplier accruals.
• Ensure VAT (including TOMS), corporation tax and CAA regulatory compliance.
• Scale cash‑flow forecasting, manage banking relationships, foreign‑currency hedging and covenant testing.
• Provide financial planning and analysis to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a finance team in a fast‑growing environment.
• Hands‑on approach with ownership of month‑end close and board reporting.
• Ability to make technical accounting judgments and interact with auditors and regulators.
