Financial Controller – SaaS

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA professional to join a high‑performing SaaS business in London’s West End. Reporting to the CFO and business owner, you will drive the finance function and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and monthly management accounts.
• Manage cash flow, prepare quarterly VAT returns and support year‑end audit.
• Analyse operational costs, gross margins and site profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual board budget.
• Authorise bank payments and set company‑wide authorisation limits.
• Review and enhance internal controls, implementing new systems as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong, hands‑on accounting background gained in practice or an SME.
• Minimum three years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience with Netsuite is desirable.
