Financial Planner – Client Advisory & Retention

About the role
We are seeking a Financial Planner to build trusted relationships with existing and potential high‑net‑worth households. The role focuses on delivering compliant, high‑quality advice remotely, retaining assets, and supporting the growth of our financial planning fees.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual Business Plan aligned with individual targets.
- Provide remote (telephone/video) financial planning advice to an assigned client bank.
- Complete periodic client reviews in line with expectations and changing circumstances.
- Maintain compliance metrics such as Business Quality Assurance grades, CPD, and complaint handling.
- Achieve KPIs measured via a Balanced Business Scorecard.
- Grow total and average ongoing financial planning fees across retained clients.
- Collaborate with team members, share best practices, and contribute to client acquisition strategies.
- Execute client‑centric migration processes as needed.
- Uphold FCA regulations, internal policies, and SMCR responsibilities.
Required profile
- Several years of experience advising clients in an ongoing advisory capacity.
- Proven ability to manage a large book of clients.
- Diploma or equivalent Level 4, working towards or holding Chartered status.
- Strong relationship‑building skills through networking and referrals.
- Capability to deliver a holistic financial planning experience.
- Highly motivated self‑starter and effective team player.
- Solid financial wellbeing knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Comfortable working under pressure to meet KPIs.
