Financial Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join a growing wealth management business in Birmingham. You will work with an established client base, supported by a dedicated paraplanning and administration team, enabling you to focus on delivering high‑quality financial advice and achieving client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, tax planning, savings and protection.
• Build and maintain strong, personalised relationships with an existing client bank (approximately £70 million AUM).
• Collaborate closely with paraplanning and administration teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to grow assets under management and retain existing clients.
• Maintain CPD requirements and annual SPS accreditation, ensuring compliance with FCA and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Financial Adviser with a Level 4 Diploma (essential).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a client‑facing advisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of wealth management and financial planning.
• Experience delivering advice both face‑to‑face and remotely.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
