Financial Planner – Manage £30m Client Portfolio

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to take over a high‑quality client bank of approximately £30 million assets under management in St Albans. You will join an independent wealth‑management firm and benefit from a warm handover from a retiring adviser.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring a seamless transition.
• Provide holistic financial planning covering pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
• Maintain long‑term relationships and uphold the firm’s reputation for high‑quality advice.
• Collaborate with a dedicated paraplanning and administrative team.
• Generate additional business through referrals and ongoing client engagement.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered qualification advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Adviser/Planner.
• Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Professional, ethical and client‑focused approach.
