Financial Planning Administrator – Chartered IFA

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Planning Administrator (also known as a Trainee Paraplanner) to join our Chartered IFA team in Central London. You will support a high‑billing adviser pod, handling end‑to‑end client services and basic paraplanning tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administer client onboarding, documentation and back‑office processes from start to finish.
• Provide basic paraplanning support to advisers.
• Utilise Intelligent Office software for workflow management.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader and wider advisory team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• 12+ months experience in financial planning administration.
• Motivation to develop paraplanning skills and progress to senior admin or team‑leader roles.
• Willingness to study towards a Level 4 diploma (company will support studies).
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on staff wellbeing.

Required skills

• Experience with Intelligent Office (advantageous, training provided if needed).
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and back‑office procedures.
