About the role
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join a fast‑growing transport organisation based just outside Manchester city centre. The role will support strategic decision‑making by turning large data sets into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts and group management accounts.
- Analyse key performance indicators and produce insightful reports.
- Develop financial models to support strategic planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for finance processes and systems.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of data and present findings to non‑finance audiences.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Financial modelling.
