Financial Planning Analyst – Luxury Sportswear

About the role

This is a pivotal FP&A position within a fast‑growing luxury sportswear brand. You will join the London finance team during a period of rapid expansion, ERP implementation and process transformation, acting as a strategic co‑pilot for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support budgeting and forecasting cycles across the business.
• Build and enhance financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Deliver monthly reporting, variance analysis and clear, actionable insights.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to track performance and spend.
• Monitor costs against budget, ensuring accuracy, accountability and visibility.
• Analyse sales performance across UK, US, EU and ROW markets.
• Support month‑end close and ensure integrity of financial data.
• Drive continuous improvements in processes, reporting and financial controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Retail or FMCG background.
• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence influencing non‑finance stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (financial modelling).
• ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite).
• BI tools such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• SQL knowledge.
