Financial Planning Team Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Team Manager to lead a high‑performing Client Experience team of Paraplanners and IFA Administrators. You will shape the day‑to‑day operations that support advisers and deliver an exceptional client journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a mixed team of Paraplanners and IFA Administrators.
• Oversee daily workflow, ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality standards and capacity targets.
• Maintain high standards of client communication and service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and performance management.
• Monitor and report on operational metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial planning, wealth or broader financial services.
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong understanding of workflows, SLAs and performance management.
• Excellent coaching, communication and organisational abilities.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to lead through change while keeping teams engaged.
• Diploma in Financial Planning advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using scheduling systems.
