Financial Reporting Accountant – Hybrid, Permanent

About the role

Royal London is looking for a meticulous Financial Reporting Accountant to join its Financial & Regulatory Reporting team in Alderley Park. Working in a hybrid model, you will help produce the Group’s Annual Report, accounts, and external financial communications while collaborating with finance and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and challenge reported results to present a clear financial narrative.
• Draft committee papers for the Audit Committee and Board.
• Support monthly UK GAAP consolidation and quarterly management reporting.
• Prepare subsidiary statutory accounts and quarterly reports.
• Assist the Head of Financial & Regulatory Reporting in driving efficiencies and strengthening controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with solid financial reporting experience.
• Experience preparing or auditing financial statements.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and report‑writing abilities.
