Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

This permanent position is for a Financial Reporting Accountant based in central Bristol, working three days a week on‑site. You will join a fast‑paced, supportive team and be responsible for delivering high‑quality statutory and management reporting within a complex group structure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for the group.
• Produce regular financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support joint‑venture accounting and consolidation activities.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues across the business to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and challenge accounting issues, providing clear explanations to senior management.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a large corporate environment, preferably within a complex group or joint‑venture context.
• Strong communicator able to ask questions and challenge at all levels.
• Ability to work on‑site in central Bristol three days per week.
