Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed organisation as the Financial Reporting Manager. You will own statutory reporting for a multi‑entity group, lead audit cycles and support investor reporting while working within a collaborative finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for a multi‑entity group.
• Manage all audit interactions, coordinating deliverables and quarterly review cycles.
• Produce quarterly consolidated financial statements for external reporting.
• Draft technical accounting papers and judgement documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Support debt covenant calculations and ongoing monitoring.
• Work cross‑functionally with Management Accounts, FinOps, Tax, Treasury and FP&A to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare commentary, analysis and a range of statutory and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to ESG‑related and carbon‑related reporting.

Required profile

• Fully qualified reporting accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to manage statutory accounts and lead audit processes independently.
• Strong technical accounting capability and confidence in challenging accounting treatments.
• Organised, reliable and resilient working style, able to thrive under reporting pressures.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with enthusiasm for improving processes.

Required skills
