Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a well‑established charitable organisation in London. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead financial control, statutory reporting and finance operations while championing technology‑driven improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial controls and ensure statutory compliance across the organisation.
• Oversee year‑end accounts, audit processes and external audit relationships.
• Drive enhancements to finance systems, reporting processes and automation initiatives.
• Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering professional growth.
• Support the adoption of AI and other process‑improvement technologies.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven experience managing financial controls, year‑end processes and external audits.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience delivering high‑quality financial information through ERP or finance systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar ERP platform).
• ERP/finance system implementation and optimisation.
