Financial Services Administrator – Group Risk

About the role

This position supports the corporate team and financial planning process by administering a range of group risk schemes. You will work in a dynamic, supportive environment that values long‑term career development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client service standards, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work.
• Administer Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection and Critical Illness schemes.
• Liaise with insurers, advisers, clients and providers on policy administration, renewals and scheme changes.
• Prepare templated Recommendation Reports for advisers.
• Manage daily queries from clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Support advisers during client reviews and implementation.
• Attend client meetings with advisers when required.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and providers while ensuring FCA compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Group Risk administration.
• Strong understanding of Group Life, Group Income Protection and related employee benefit arrangements.
• Background in an IFA, employee benefits consultancy or financial services environment.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with financial services systems.
