Financial Support Agent

About the role

Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) in Redhill provides motor finance to dealerships across the United Kingdom. In this role you will support customers experiencing financial difficulty, acting as a friendly voice, attentive listener and problem‑solver to help them find suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls to customers in arrears using automated and manual dialing systems.
• Offering appropriate financial signposting, suitable options and guidance on finance agreements.
• Negotiating affordable payment plans that meet both Santander Consumer Finance and customer requirements.
• Updating system records accurately and handling queries, complaints and vulnerability cases.

Required profile

• Team player who can also work autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone manner, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly organised with strong planning skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Previous call‑centre experience is desirable, along with good computer literacy and numeracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
