Fire Alarm Engineer – Hampshire

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing team serving Hampshire and surrounding areas. The role is field‑based, offering a mix of installation, maintenance and service tasks for fire alarm and emergency lighting systems on a variety of client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service, repair and fault‑find fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Visit multiple sites across Hampshire, ensuring work is completed to high quality standards.
- Work with a range of manufacturers and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide clear project updates.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a safe working environment.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
- At least 3 years experience in the fire industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to train in additional disciplines.
- Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.
Required skills
- Fire alarm installation.
- Fire alarm maintenance and fault finding.
- Emergency lighting servicing.
- Knowledge of multiple fire‑alarm manufacturers.
