Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a fast‑growing fire and security company. The role is based in Milton Keynes and will cover Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, providing on‑site service, maintenance and emergency support for fire safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and fault‑find fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers across multiple client sites.
• Work with a variety of manufacturers and fire detection equipment, including both conventional and addressable systems.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call duties on a rotational basis.
• Provide accurate reports and recommendations following each visit.

Required profile

• Proven experience in servicing, fault‑finding and minor works on fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Good knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with major panel brands such as Morley, Advanced, Kentec, C‑Tec, Gent, Notifier and VESDA.
• Understanding of NSI codes of practice and current industry standards.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

What we offer

• Basic salary £36,000‑£40,000 per annum, up to £50,000 OTE including overtime, on‑call and commission.
