Fire Alarm Service Engineer

About the role
The role is a hands‑on, field‑based position delivering fire alarm servicing across Central London and surrounding areas. You will work independently on multiple client sites, ensuring systems meet safety standards and performing fault repairs.
Key responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs on site.
- Identify system issues and recommend improvements.
- Produce detailed service reports and compliance documentation.
- Travel to various sites within Central London and the M25 area.
Required profile
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
- Good knowledge of BS 5839 regulations.
- Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo security vetting where required.
