Fire and Security Service Engineer

About the role

Join Banham Patent Locks Ltd as a Fire and Security Service Engineer, providing on‑site installation, maintenance and emergency response for fire, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems across South West England.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to pre‑arranged service calls and emergency incidents in the field.
• Service, maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Ensure the ongoing functionality and reliability of customers' security installations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Document work performed and communicate findings to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Security Service Engineer.
• Strong passion for security and fire systems and a commitment to high‑quality service.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to undertake further training and develop within the company.

Required skills

• Servicing and maintenance of intruder alarm systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems.
• Experience with entry and access control systems.
• Understanding of fire alarm systems.
• Technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
