Fire and Security Trainer (Full Training Provided)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security engineer to transition into a training position where you will shape the next generation of engineers. The role combines hands‑on expertise with the opportunity to develop and deliver high‑impact training across the full fire and security spectrum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face, remote and blended training on fire detection & alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.
• Design, develop and tailor training programmes, course materials and e‑learning resources.
• Contribute to the Skills On‑Demand Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain content compliance.
• Assist with course accreditation and quality audits.
• Travel to the Warrington office as required while primarily working from home.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security engineer, particularly with fire alarm systems.
• Strong interest or prior experience in training, mentoring or instructional design.
• Ability to work independently and manage a hybrid work schedule.

Required skills

• Fire detection and alarm system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• CCTV / video surveillance system knowledge.
• Intruder and hold‑up alarm expertise.
• Access control system proficiency.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning tools.
