Fire Door Carpenter / Installer – Watford

About the role

We are seeking skilled Fire Door Carpenters to join a leading specialist contractor in passive fire protection. Based in Watford with travel to various sites, you will deliver high‑quality fire door installations and maintenance across residential, healthcare, education and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complete fire door installations and routine maintenance.
• Select and use appropriate materials, tools and resources for each job.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Record all work using the company’s mobile application.
• Participate in any required training to stay up‑to‑date with best practices.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (mandatory).
• NVQ in passive fire protection – preferred but not essential.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS (CRB) check if required.
