Fire Door Installer / Carpenter

About the role

Elevate Projects Ltd, working with a Bristol‑based landlord, are creating a dedicated Fire Safety Team. They need two experienced fire‑door installers/carpenters to deliver installation, maintenance and remediation of fire doors across occupied residential properties.

Key responsibilities

• Install new fire doors and complete door sets.
• Carry out upgrades and remedial works on existing fire doors.
• Fit ironmongery such as closers, hinges, locks, seals and signage.
• Ensure all installations meet fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Record completed works and keep accurate site documentation.
• Collaborate with site managers, surveyors and residents where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire doors.
• Good knowledge of current fire safety regulations and standards.
• Experience working within occupied residential properties (desirable).
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred).
• FIRAS, BM TRADA or equivalent fire‑door accreditation (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
