Fire Door Joiner – 2‑week contract in Netherbury

About the role

DCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner to undertake remedial fire door repairs and fire‑stopping duties on a two‑week project in Netherbury, starting Monday 3 August 2026. This full‑time contract position offers hands‑on work in a dynamic construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out fire door remedial repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform fire‑stopping tasks around door frames and surrounding structures.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project timelines.
• Inspect completed work for quality and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a carpenter or joiner, specifically with fire doors.
• Valid CSCS card and NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery.
• Ability to start on the specified date and work full‑time for the contract duration.
• Commitment to health and safety standards on site.
