Fire & Security Engineer – Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire

About the role

Our client, a well‑established fire and security specialist operating across the South of England, is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team. The role involves installing, maintaining and fault‑finding a variety of fire and security systems for customers in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, with occasional travel to neighbouring counties.

Key responsibilities

• Install intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and perform system diagnostics.
• Conduct planned servicing and maintenance visits.
• Complete small works and system upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and high‑quality standards.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call rota (one week in every three weeks) with additional pay.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the fire and security industry.
• Strong installation and fault‑finding abilities.
• Good knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
