Fire & Security Engineer – Hertfordshire

About the role

We are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Hertfordshire. The role involves delivering installation, service and maintenance for fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Perform field work across Hertfordshire and surrounding counties, covering a variety of manufacturers.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide timely updates.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to efficient task completion.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to undergo training on additional disciplines.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.
