Fire & Security Engineer

About the role

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team. The role involves working across a range of fire protection and electronic security systems, ensuring installations, maintenance, and servicing are carried out to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect and maintain fire protection and security systems in line with relevant codes and industry standards.
• Service and test fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and intercom systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Use hand and power tools to install and test equipment.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Proven experience or certification in fire and/or security systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.

What we offer

• Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience.
