Fire & Security Engineer – London & South East

About the role

Our client, a leading fire and security services provider in London and the South East, is seeking experienced Fire & Security Engineers to join a growing team. The role involves installation, maintenance and servicing of fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems across commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call‑outs on fire and security systems.
• Install, service and fault‑find fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control equipment.
• Commission new systems and perform remedial work as required.
• Travel to commercial customer sites across London and the South East.
• Produce electronic service reports and keep accurate job records.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and delivers high customer service.

Required profile

• Proven experience with fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm or access control systems.
• Ability to work independently on service, installation or mixed projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• FIA qualifications, ECS/CSCS card or manufacturer training (desirable but not essential).
