About the role
Jackson Fire & Security is seeking a motivated Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join its Bury team. You will work independently in the field, delivering maintenance, fault‑finding and small‑scale repairs on a variety of fire and security installations while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and diagnose fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
- Carry out small works, remedial repairs and support larger installation projects.
- Install and maintain fire extinguishers at commercial and residential sites.
- Manage your own daily workload and report to the Branch Director.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally.
Required profile
- Reliable, customer‑focused and able to work alone.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Required skills
- Experience with fire alarm systems.
- Experience with intruder alarm systems.
- Experience with CCTV systems.
- Experience with access control systems.
- Experience with fire extinguishers.
What we offer
- Competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum.
- Performance bonus with OTE of £50,000.
- Full‑time permanent contract, Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm.
